Lindsay Ryan
Growing up in the entertainment industry, Lindsay understands how a good fit can make or break your experience. From a pair of glasses to a pair of pointe shoes, how something makes you feel can determine your perspective, as well as other people’s perception of you.
And not only has she been a top performer, she’s been a top professional for most of her life. At just eight years old, she booked her first national tour as a union performer. By the time she was sixteen, she had earned dozens of performance credits, won various academic and artistic awards, graduated high school, and even started her own music education program for children.
Lindsay still has a heart for the arts, but she’s found another passion; eye wear. While she grew up as an artist, most of her family members have had degrees and long careers in science and healthcare. So, when she found a field that combined her scientific mind and her love of fashion, it peaked her interest.
She started her optical career as an apprentice, became an optician and sales advisor, received her American Board of Opticianry (ABO) Certification, and worked all the way up to managing, overseeing, and leading a number of optical practices and healthcare offices.
Over the years, Lindsay has developed a keen eye (no pun intended) for what makes a great optical retail experience and her clientele would said the same. And where most of the optical industry has a major emphasis on meeting quotas and making commission, Lindsay has continued to drive her business with a “patient-oriented” and “customer-minded” approach.
